(B) Obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a regionally accredited college or university in New York State, plus six (6) years of paid employment as defined in (A) above, of which one (1) year has to be in a supervisory capacity; OR,
(C) To meet the requirements of (B), (C) a combination of education and experience equal to the qualifications in (A).
- The license of a professional engineer issued by the New York State of New York or the license of a professional engineer issued by another state having reciprocity** with the New York professional engineer licensing standards.
- **Where an individual is appointed on the basis of reciprocity in order to meet the Professional Engineer’s license requirement, the probationary period is not considered complete until the employee has received the Professional Engineer’s license issued by the State of New York. If the license is not obtained during the probationary period, the employee must be terminated.
